So practice, because I need more practice. This was way to play with more photo manipulation and contrast. This was of course, inspired by the fairytale of the same name.
Okay, I first want to admit that this is the result of a plot generator. The author and the corresponding blurb (I will do a dusk jacket lately) are all made and do not exist. I just wanted to stretch my skills and challenge myself. I also wanted to do some more fantasy pieces as well. I’m kind of feel so-so of the end result, but this was more of a learning exercise than anything else.

This was done for practice purposes. I’m still was doing stuff in Cyan-Blue which is a hangup I still have, and I need to grow beyond that sadly. I actually did a full jacket for this but I messed up by merging everything too soon (smart objects is one’s friend) and then photoshop decided to have all the punctuation at the beginning of each sentence *le sigh*. I also need to get into Adobe Indesign post haste!
