The Glass Slipper: Photo Manipulation
Mar. 2nd, 2016 09:50 pmI haven’t done a purely photo manipulation composite in a while. I recently re-watched the original Disney version of Cinderella and was inspired to do something with it, and this is the result. This piece was so much harder than I thought it would be. I especially had the the hardest part with her hair, which was not her original hair. It’s digital weave, if you will. I tried several different hair pieces on the model, in the end I modified the hair in the piece to something I really liked and really fit the model’s dress. I actually tried to extend the canvas a bit and add a coach, but the coach overtook the photo and put the balance of the items in this piece of out of balance I think everything in this piece is a photo manipulation, and all in all I’m very proud how it turned out.
